Would absolutely recommend. The Jalapeno Dip Burrito was FIRE!! The salsa and Side Jalapeno Dip, delicious and in the perfect amount. They also followed my additional allergy warning. 10 out of 10!!! Will be back.

My go-to comfort food! Everything on the menu is sensational so no matter what you decide to try, you can't go wrong. Hubby loves the crispy-fried tacos of #3. My Chicken Verde Burrito was incredible, with leftovers for breakfast. Fresh tortilla chips were generous and delicious, with generous amounts of salsa. Why eat anywhere else?

Very disappointing tonight! Order was missing one entree we ordered; the "Dos Fajitas" came with 12 tortillas but only enough chicken for 2 tortillas; the $13 Jalapenos dip was watery and tasted funny; the Chubby Burrito (#8) looks like everything was vacuumed out of the middle and was missing rice and beans (see picture); and everything was cold.

The chips and salsa portions are consistently disappointing. The salsa containers are often only partially filled, and there are barely enough chips to go with them. The jalapeños out south has way better quality/quantity of food and much better customer service.

Are you visiting for World Cup & wanting to try the authentic taste of Cowtown? Hubby & his mom tell me when he was a kid growing up in KS, his mom would bring the fam to a place they both call Tampico. To me, that's orange juice or a seaport in Mexico. It's also still a spot in Leavenworth, but they swear it's not the same. Yet every time they eat Jalapenos, they rave they've traveled back in time. I've only been here 21 yrs, but I too swear this is the best food I ever put in my mouth. If you're in KCMO reading this & you're hungry, your order is #3 for KC-original fried tacos or Dos Enchiladas with beef+spinach, which thrills my little Tex-Mex heart. I always order sides of hot salsa (cuz it isn't hot enough if it don't make your nose run) & I take the cup of mild salsa that comes wit our tortilla chips (included in the meal) & dump it over the top of my enchiladas because I like it soupy. Not real spicy unless you add hot Hot Salsa (4 oz) but it nails comfort every time.
