I’m so glad I decided to give Jamaica Pon Di Road a try! I was on a task force assignment and honestly just tired of eating from the same menus, so I decided to switch it up—and I’m so glad I did!
I ordered through DoorDash, and while I was placing my order, rice and peas unfortunately wasn’t showing as an option. Shortly after I placed the order, it became available. I tried to cancel and reorder through the app, but the app wouldn’t let me. I called the restaurant, and my food had already been prepared. Instead of making it a hassle, they went above and beyond to accommodate me and added a side of rice and peas to my order complimentary! 🥹❤️
That kind of customer service goes a LONG way!
And the food? Delicious! The portions were generous, everything was fresh, and the chicken was packed with flavor. Exactly what I needed after eating the same food over and over while traveling for work.
It’s not often that a restaurant gets the food AND the customer service right, but Jamaica Pon Di Road definitely did. One simple gesture turned a first-time customer into a forever customer! 🇯🇲❤️

NUFF NUFF FOOD PLATE was veryyyy fulfilling for 2 people to share and had left overs. The fried fish was to perfection and it was big, the jerk chicken was BOMB and plenty. The Mango Peppa Sauce 2oz complimented the egg roll perfectly. Definitely satisfied and fulfilling, will be ordering again !

As an ex Floridian I struggled trying to find good Jamaican food in Texas & JAMAICAN PON DI ROAD IS THE BEST OUT HERE !!! It gets no better than this & the NUFF FOOD PLATE is the perfect portion! The oxtails are amazing & they don't skimp on the gravy or sides 10/10 !!

The oxtail cheesesteak is a horrible idea. Oxtail Cheesesteak, is just a bad concept, who wants to eat oxtail with cheese on it. It looks good, and I paid for it, but it absolutely was nowhere close to worth the money ordered or in person. Other items like the nuff food plate were just bland and weak portions only the plantains are good. Would not order ever again.
