All I gotta say is WOW. Came fast, I had to warm it up a little bit but it's okay, it tasted so damn amazing still and such a huge portion. k
(Also, I took 3 bites of the Mac and cheese before I took a Pic.) I got two of the Jerk Chicken Large. The chicken was TENDER and soooo flavorful. I'm a little picky with Mac and cheese especially from Jamaican spots because usually it be bland but this Mac was GOOOOOD!!! Greens amazing, rice amazing, plantains perfects, everything was amazing. I'm definitely coming back.

It's been years since the lunch truck around Community College shut down, which was the last time I got to enjoy Jamaican D's Oxtails. Todaywas my moms birthday and just as I was about to go to the restaurant for them in person, noticed they were back on Doordash menu. Before this mirage could vanish, I scheduled an order... and they're here! As big and fatty and tender and flavorful as I remember them. I don't know if this is a limited time thing, but thank you for making my mother's birthday that much more special.
The Jerk Chicken Large , Cabbage, mac and cheese and rice and peas are always great, we order them all the time. It's even better to know at least for today we can get the oxtails, too! And they aren't stingy with the Oxtail Gravy either. I really only needed to order one, but I won't complain about the two I got at all.

lol they didn't give me what I ordered... I ordered collard greens and rice n peas as a side they gave me string beans... also it was stew chicken but I felt like I was eating a strong boned fish or something it was SOOOO many bones I still might have marrow in my teeth. Taste wise this place makes amazing food everything was seasoned greatly and the portions were more than fair. Not to mention it was hot and fresh and I have no stomach ache even after a day and eating leftovers. I would order again but I would request less bones and for my food to have the sides I requested/ paid for y'know?

So my only regret is trying Mac and cheese with brown stew it came mixed together and it looked like soup. Flavor was there but I was grossed out with the amount of gravy. Greens not the best texture was good but it tasted sour i couldn't finish them. The CORNBREAD made me angry! It looked like something at a free lunch for kids tiny and dry just terrible I thought it was homemade but nope came prepackaged and stale. The pricing was fair for the platter but super small portion so make sense. Have to be selective on what to get at a specialty restaurant I guess but I think maybe presentation and packaging would have helped because it was flavorful.... Damn the cornbread though very upset about that!
