A great alternative to Palomino!!
Ordered the Hangry Plate (1-2 Bellies):
Smoked brisket and pulled pig were awesome - lots of flavour and the meat and fat were separating beautifully!
Chicken thighs could use some work as they were dry and salty.
Coconut cornbread was moist and flavourful - awesome!
BBQ and Carolina sauces were great, and essential to balancing out the salt on the meat.
Smok'd Jus (Dip & Drizzle!) - great name but way too salty! The meat is already salty - couldn't eat the Smok'd Jus.
Candied Brussel Pecan Salad was ok. I'm pretty sure they used the BBQ sauce as the sauce for this salad. It's more like fried brussel sprouts in a reduced BBQ sauce which gives it a sweet and tangy flavour, but it was a little too sauce forward.
Creamy Sesame Slaw was good! Again, a little sauce forward - it was more of a creamy dill flavour.
The restaurant forgot the coconut honey butter in my order.
Georgia Peach Cobbler cup could use some work - the peach flavour is lost almost completely and the texture of the starch is very mealy (like mashed watery sweet potato with some flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and Cool Whip on top). It also arrived dripping sugary fluids all over the bag as it was thawing out.
Jane's Island Sweet Tea can is pretty good! It's not a typical sweet tea and comes carbonated, but it's good! Tastes like a vanilla-mango/pineapple soda.

The brisket sandwich was ok. The desert was inedible. It tasted like a chemical additive.
The French fries were uncooked inside.

Wonderful owners but that being said my actual cost is 44.50 with the forced add ons while I appreciate the hustle I shouldn’t have to pay $8.50 in forced upgrades I didn’t want.

build your own platter was amazing. fed 3 adults easily with some leftovers. so good

I wish I could leave a better review, but to be honest it's way overpriced for what you actually get. Unfortunately thats the only reason I stopped ordering my favourite sandwich.
