The food here is always phenomenal. The Peameal on a Bun has been my favourite, very tasty.

Their homemade Bacon Cheeseburger and Small Poutine are delicious, gives me happy yummy nostalgic vibes of old closed local favorites like Teddys in the mall, Cj's and Deb's Diner in Port, Palace Pizza in VH. My husband loves their Chicken Clubhouse too. I also like the consistency in the fish and chips and coleslaw, they are always good. good portions and flavour always, and good amounts of condiments. Though I wish I could opt for extra pickles! love their pickles!

this was our first time ordering from Jay's. my first opinion is not enough peameal on the sandwich. one small piece definitely not going to cut it. However it did taste good. hot roast Beef diner was very good. small poutine was great full of cheese. the shake was very thin. Now it could have melted I the 10 min it took to get to me. Onion rings were fantastic. I will give it another try but there is definitely room for improvement.

I normally like these items but for some reason fries had a weird flavor & didn't seem fried enough. The gravy lacked beef flavor. otherwise everything else was fine. 👏👍

The food is ok, overall the quality is fine-not bad but definitely not amazing either. The prices will stop me from ordering again as the servings don't match what you're paying- why is a single serve cup of gravy $4?! It was an additional $5 for a handful of fries on the side of an $11 sandwich. I get costs are up but it's just too much.
