Hands down The best soul food I've ever had. And I'm from Mississippi so that's saying a lot. I Could eat from this spot everyday. Oxtails were perfect. Cornbread was sweet and soft and macaroni and yams were on point. Props to the chef.

Treat Yourself!!! This food is 10/10 amazing. The warm food was piping hot & made fresh the banana pudding was separated and still chilled. I would go back for banana pudding every time. If you want to support a local soul food / Caribbean restaurant I recommend this place.

Never will I order from another soul food place except .. BIG Easy AND NEWLY THIS ONE.. the Mac The yams the chicken THE CORNBREAD!!!! All of it was good .. and I had enough to eat some twice .. the chicken runs out quick but it's ok the rest still holds up 10/10.. didn't get a photo.. wasn't on my mind lol

I was skeptical as I am a truck driver and I wasn't sure how the food would be from NJ. However, my expectations were met! The candied yams were not overly sweet, Mac and cheese was not dry, it was creamy and I could tell it was seasoned with something. Brown stew was fresh and tender. The only thing I would have changed was a little more gravy for my rice.

Curry chicken was amazing and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was really good authentic baked Mac and cheese. Yams were amazing! Everything was fresh with good portions. I would def order again.
