Truck driver from Miami passing through. This is the Best food I've had on the road hands down !!! The brown stew was flavorful and tender falling off the bone, they gave me so much Mac and cheese I was like it has to be bad right ? nope very cheesey and good. The star of the night was the candied yams OMG them things was so chunky !! not broken up and mashed like they been sitting for days you can tell these were fresh, not to sweet but flavorful. 12/10 !!! I'm ordering every time I'm in in the area !!!

Treat Yourself!!! This food is 10/10 amazing. The warm food was piping hot & made fresh the banana pudding was separated and still chilled. I would go back for banana pudding every time. If you want to support a local soul food / Caribbean restaurant I recommend this place.

Hands down The best soul food I've ever had. And I'm from Mississippi so that's saying a lot. I Could eat from this spot everyday. Oxtails were perfect. Cornbread was sweet and soft and macaroni and yams were on point. Props to the chef.

Never will I order from another soul food place except .. BIG Easy AND NEWLY THIS ONE.. the Mac The yams the chicken THE CORNBREAD!!!! All of it was good .. and I had enough to eat some twice .. the chicken runs out quick but it's ok the rest still holds up 10/10.. didn't get a photo.. wasn't on my mind lol

Food tasted homemade! I ordered the small curry chicken with beans and rice and two sides of greens. It was flavorful but greens were a bit too salty for me. The fried fish was good, thin and very breaded. Really enjoyed the mac & cheese and yams. Portions were perfect. And the banana pudding was ok. I would order again and probably try something different just to try the whole menu!!
