Tbh this might be the bet Jamaican food I've had in CT. I had the curried goat - Seasoning was perfect with JUST the right amount of spice. They weren't stingy with the sauce. The peppers in the steamed veggies added a great flare. And they used the perfect amount of coconut milk to give it a subtle yet balanced sweetness. PHENOMENAL.

Portion size is horrible. I ordered a large and got what looks like a small. It's was not bone then oxtail and the gravy is very thin and oily. Also wasn't the best of flavors it was very average not worth the price. Very disappointed

The oxtail was fresh and fragrant! It tasted magnificent! Also the coco bread n beef patty was fresh and soft!

The food was tasteless and the serving size was laughable for the price! It was a huge comedown from the last time I ordered the jerk salmon meal. The only good thing about my order was the D&G Jamaican sodas. I don’t think many of these Jamaican restaurants would survive if they did business on the island. In Jamaica, restaurant food is taken very seriously and only The Best, earn a good reputation to stay open and thrive. The rice and peas was not bad. Not too salty nor was it bland. The jerk salmon and the stew chicken left A LOT to be desired! The sweet plantains were actually the right level of ripeness. I had higher hopes for this place. So disappointed!
