I remember this place as being awesome when it was on Elmwood but I hadn't ordered in years. Brick Oven (Large) has a really dry, stale crust. And each topping costs more than $4 but this is what they give you (a smattering). Definitely won't order from them again.

I always get a slice of cheese pizza with spinach, meatballs and ricotta. I call it the Queen Slice. Great portions, delicious crispy dough, meatballs are phenomenal and so garlicky, and the sauce finishes it off perfectly. Highly recommended!!

I ordered the cheese calzone which arrived early and was hot. The dough was perfect and delicious. The ricotta and mozzarella cheese filling however , was completely overpowered by garlic. I'm used to another pizzeria that closed after many many years. Their cheese were creamy and the best because they weren't bogged down with tons and tons of garlic. There are many very good items at JJ's Casa but Iwill be staying away from the calzones
