Joe's first KC BBQ experience amazing! I had the 1/4 chicken, smokie Joe's and BBQ beans. SO GOOD! The chicken was full of flavor and fell of the bone, the beans had a nice unique kick to them! I originally ordered burnt ends but they ran out and so kindly gave me a bottle of their BBQ sauce as a token of their apologies.

It's a good thing l love Joe's. From looks alone they missed the mark this time. The French Fries taste wonderful and full to the brim. The Jumbo Z-Man is another story. As you can see in the picture I had one drop of barbecue sauce on the bun, zero on the actual meat. Which is all in one (albeit large) clump. Again it tastes pretty good but I am going to have to remake the sandwich with the sauce that fortunately is at the bottom of the bag

I got the Carolina Pork Sandwich and Mac & Cheese. The bun was huge and fresh. The pork was tender. I enjoyed the sauce. I like a creamier cole slaw but that is a personal preference. The slaw was fresh and delicious. I would order again if in the area.

This brisket is drier than the Sahara. You can see in the picture that there ain't no juice left in it. The fat is all congealed. It obviously got cut thin and so uniform by an industrial slicer and left to Wilt. The chicken tasted ok, but sure could use some seasoning. Bland. Sad. Poor excuse for a bbq joint
