OMG! The brisket was brilliant! It's the best we've had since leaving Texas. The smoked sausage & the pulled pork are equally fantastic! The portion sizes for the meat was perfect. My hubby & I split the 3 meat plate, which stretched our limited income. The smoke they use in grilling really compliments the flavor of the meats. Definitely worth the price!
The sides we tried were good. The baked beans are cooked with A LOT of garlic. It was a bit much for us. Also, we would have preferred chunks of pork in the baked beans. We loved the corn on the cob. The corn was plump & gushed a burst of juicy flavor with every bite. Keep a napkin handy! We like the fries made with the skins on. And the Banana Pudding! WOW! (The pudding portions were a bit skimpy for the price, tho.)
We will definitely eat there again!

The wings weren't bad. I had one that was just a little dry and over cooked. The real issue is paying $5.50 for ONE small jalapeño and a small piece of shrimp. For that price you could have given at least 2. Not sure if I will return.

I'm going to HOPE that this was such a bad experience because it was almost time for them to close (unbeknownst to me). I kissed the call and message from my dasher that they were out of pork for the One Meat. Instead of cancelling the item or substituting the meat - I got only the side items. Hey, the baked beans were pretty good, and the Mac and cheese wasn't bad. The brisket on the Texas sushi was tough as shoe leather, so I might be glad that they didn't substitute that for the pulled pork they were out of for the One Meat.
I'm a fan of spicy. I even sometimes like spicy for the sake of being mean and spicy. That said - the Texas Jumbo-laya was close to inedible. The smoked sausage was mushy, the beans were pure heat, and there were random bits of crunch that might have been undercooked rice.
I will say that the banana pudding was really really good.

The "One Meat (Pulled Pork) and Baby Back Ribs were DELICIOUS! We also got the coleslaw and red skin potato salad, which were also EXCELLENT. SO GOOD! YUM !
