This store specializes in korean style pig trotters and braised pork belly, I think its the best in this city! I recommend this place if you want to try korean style pig trotters (chewy and flavorful) and the braised pork belly (very soft in texture and delicious)! I'm willing to come again for more! :)

This review is just for Braised Port Belly. I appreciate how the meat didn't smell. Meat was slightly tougher than I would expect in a really enjoyable Bossam. The seasoned radish was delicious, I liked how they gave every single sides you would expect in a Bossam including salted shrimp, soybean paste and garlic/ jalapeño. Only complaint is, while this could be more of a personal preference, that it comes with regular green lettuce. I much prefer the salted Napa cabbage when it comes to Bossam.

We tried again on 4/7. Yippee! It was the same delicious one we used to enjoy. The store even included a hand-written note explaining about last order (3/24). Such graciousness! We are back to enjoy Kang's Jokbal here and on. Thank you!

I am surprised to see today's Braised Pork Belly / Bossam is the low quality. Tough and smelly. We order this often since it has all been great. What happened today? New owner? Different pork vendor? I hope this was just one time fluke. We want to try one more time.
