Got the unagi fried rice, tasty and flavorful and generous portions. Also got the tempura fried ice cream, it was too decadent for me, better suited to feed four people. Other than that, I'm local to this spot, and Kaoru Sushi has the best bang for your buck in terms of quick Japanese food :)

This place is simply the best. I've ordered sashimi, nigiri, and maki and every time it has been fresh and delicious. I recommend the negi-hama and spider rolls which I almost always order, they're so flavorful. I also enjoy the buttery salmon nigiri and tobiko nigiri

The sashimi and rolls need to be wrapped in Saran wrap because the teriyaki juice from the teriyaki chicken spilled over and covered the sashimi and rolls - it was disgusting. Was unable to eat it!! Such a waste of money because the rolls and sashimi, besides the chicken, are what fill you up. I highly doubt I'll order from this place again.

Food taste good but the amount of chicken is so small - appropriate for a kids meal. When I dine in at the restaurant, the chicken portion is much more. Wish they gave the same amount when ordered on DoorDash.
