As soon as I opened the package, I was greeted with an unexpected wonderful familiar aroma…wow…it was an initial reminder of why I ordered from here in the first place; and then as soon I began indulging in the meal, the two Ghee Pongal (really Ghee Khichari), and the Sambhar that accompanied, I was internally saying thank you to God and the person who made it and sent it. What a pleasant meal. Just what I needed. And definitely made earlier with love and care.
P.S. it catered to almost all my requests/notes (i.e. no onion/garlic, no refined oil, made in ghee, mild spice, less salt). It added to the smile (already there post meditation on the amazing Sattva app). And the medley of spices in the Sambhar were a perfect accompaniment with the requested milder Ghee Khichari/Pongal. It was calling for Idlis that I am sure to consider ordering next time.
When given enough advanced notice, Kapisa Cafe has been very responsive and accommodating of all needs. What a Gem!
Further feedback for improvement (this applies to all Indian restaurants really): It’s time we started using more compostable containers for take out; better for us and better for the planet. Will really help encourage more frequent hesitation-free ordering if this was available. Well that’s all. Really felt the need to share after the wonderful meal. Thank you!

Idly Sambar (2)was very stale. Ghee Pongal (12 Oz)also was not cooked properly. Potato Pakoras and Butter Milk were tasty and fresh.

Looks like it was frozen food which was heat up and served. Didn't taste fresh
