THE FOOD IS SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN IT USED TO BE BUT NO WHERE NEAR WHERE IT SHOULD BE.. THE TASTE OF THE FOOD IS TOO BLAND. COLLARD GREENS NO FLAVOR AT ALL.Sweet Chili Chicken WAS GOOD. THE MACARONI AND CHEESE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH CHEESE AND DIDN'T TASTE OR LOOK BAKED.

I was really excited about ordering, but I was really disappointed after spending over $50 on two plates of food. They were both smothered chicken. The amount of bones in the chicken is all we tasted. I've never had chopped up smothered chicken like this it was very disappointing. The only good part was that the smothered gravy had potential but the collard greens must've sat out because they were slimy and they actually had a goo forming on them. I was absolutely beside myself when you could smell it in the fridge only a few hours later the mac & cheese was the bland mac & cheese I've ever had the rice Was mush, a big pile of mush. This is not what authentic soul food should taste like nor receiving such a negative review it should be getting 5 stars but I don't know if this place is gonna last this was my first time ordering from them. I'm thinking about giving them one more chance. I usually do that if I've had a bad experience one time the only good thing was the portion was packed out and they wrapped it with plastic so it didn't spill. Again I hate to say this, but this food was so bland. It had such an old flavor to it it like it had been sitting out all day, so I definitely don't suggest ordering from this place at night. another thing was I got a side of candied yams. There was nothing candid about the yams. They actually had a chemical taste of them. I don't know if it was a plastic container that I was tasting literally the BPA coming off of it, but something was 1000% not right

THE JERK CHICKEN WAS VERY VERY DRY, TASTED LIKE THEY DONT CARE AT ALL ..THEY GAVE ONLY 2 SMALL PIECES. MAC N CHEESE HAD NO FLAVOR.

The BBQ ribs were really tough, but the sauce was good. Collard greens had no flavor or seasonings, candied yams were not like baked sweet potatoe, and Mac ad cheese was beyond Mid.
