My new go to for soul food. The bbq baked chicken was amazing. The meat was falling off of the bone. The collard greens were on point. Yams? Heaven. I was not disappointed.

I love when Kimmy cooks for me. I always get my monies worth! My food always arrives fresh & hot off the griddle. My veggie omelette had enough veggies but it was a little dry this time I should have added cheese & my home fries are always delicious ! I definitely will order again!

I laughed when I saw literally 1 rib. The rib juice spilled all over the bag. The Western Fries taste old and The Homemade Dinner Roll was what I really wanted but sad to say they weren't fresh this time so that knocked it down to 3 stars.

The Turkey wings were dried out with no flavor. The fried rice was crunchy and seemed old.
The fried okra was good.
Crab cakes were very thin not much to eat.
The spicy honey wings had good flavor.
Overall I would not order from here again.

I've been a fan of Kimmy's Soul Food since the 1980's when my friends and I used to dash over to the restaurant on our lunch breaks. We marveled at how such great food was available during the busy "lunch hour" and how convenient it was to grab and go. My son and I had a taste for Mixed Chitterlings & Hog Maws (Medium), Collard Greens and Potato Salad. It was a no-brainer Kimmy's. The chitterlings and hog maws were deliciously tender, the greens were cooked to perfection and the potato salad was uniquely soft. All in all it was the perfect end to the week.
