my favorite korean restaurant! they cooked the Fresh Beef Brisket Point 차돌구이 for us when i ordered for pickup, so sweet! it also came with rice, side dishes, lettuce wraps, and dipping sauce :)

Second time ordering takeout from them! The portion is large and taste amazing! Plus it's sealed completely so no chance of any spills. The Spicy Rice Cake 떡볶이 are perfectly cooked!

This is my go to Korean spot in town. I usually get a variety of diff dishes, but the Korean BBQ Chicken 치킨불고기 도시락 is my favorite. Decided to order the SideDish for $15 and was disappointed. They give you the same amount of side dishes for $15 as they would when you order take out. And because I ordered the side dish, they did not include the usual complimentary sides. I guess I wont be doing that anymore.

Not the best, Seafood Pancake by itself was tasteless and oily. Soft Tofu Soup was good, but 2 pork slices? Stingy much? I recommend VIP restaurant over this restaurant any day. Just trying all the options out here in Anchorage and finding the best.

It's my first time ordering from KK Hometown Restaurant. It was a bit cold and windy tonight, so I craved for Kimchi & Tofu Stew with Pork 김치찌개 , Steamed or Fried Dumpling 군/찐만두, and Kimchi Pancake 김치전. The Kimchi & Tofu Stew with Pork 김치찌개 was warm and hearty with rice. The dumplings, which I ordered fried, was crispy and fresh. The kimchi pancake was also freshly made. The banchan had a nice variety. Will order again in the future.
