Kumo exceeded my epectations! There's so many sushi options in LA but this restaurant is a hidden gem! The nigiris were so fresh and tasty. It was inepsnivef as well for everything I ordered. I will definitely order from here again.

On the good side, the sushi tasted quite good. Yeah, there's better Omakase 6pc for certain (it's really just a set of 6 basic nigiri) but yes, the Crispy Rice 4pc was quite tasty and probably one of the better dishes. And the prices aren't horrendous.
All that said, this is some of the SMALLEST sushi I've ordered in a long time. The dishes are really tiny & the photos are deceiving. That's why the prices are a little lower than other restaurants. Be aware: The Kumo Set, one of their larger boxes, can easily be devoured in a few minutes. I should have taken photos next to a ruler for reference but I probably won't be ordering again.

Had everything I want in a set, which normally bento boxes don't. Having crispy rice, edamame, cucumbers, salmon sashimi, a roll, and nigiri was perfect. I just wish I knew what I was eating - having a choice in what roll or nigiri would go a long way. The flavor was good, but not the best sushi I've had. The crispy rice was my favorite part, some of the raw fish was not as fresh as some of the others but overall definitely worth the price with the DoorDash deal.

Not worth it - better to get hi.dozo instead. Wouldn't order again. The shrimp is a bit too oily. The sushi sizes as also quite small

So happy to have this neighborhood gem! Great value and quantity. Ordered 2 of the bento boxes, a crudo and one order of shrimp tempura and was able to feed 3 people plus some lunch for me the next day!
