Kyoto NEVER disappoints! Spicy Kani Roll is my favorite 😍 tonight I order the Teriyaki Dinner Steak with the rolls and OMG! The steak is soooo tender and the flavor is unreal! Also got the Fried Gyoza (6 pcs) they are truly amazing!!

Very subpar versions of everything that I got. The Kani Salad just tasted like it was drenched in sesame oil instead of something light and creamy. What they call a spicy tuna roll is just a regular tuna roll with globs of sauce dropped on top. Even the Clear Soup w. Mushroom tasted like there was a ton of soy sauce & sugar or something in it. Beyond disappointing if you’re looking for the refreshing light tastes of these classic dishes. Most of the sauces tasted like over sweetened versions of what I am accustomed to.Not to mention the prices of several of these dishes are much higher than other places in the area. I was expecting better food for the price point. $8.5 for a standard serving of Kani Salad (which is about a cup) is what I would pay at much higher quality restaurant. I will not be wasting money here again.

Hibachi Dinner Chicken & Shrimp - was great! fried rice is super good. good portion size as well. Chicken was tad bit dry, but probably because it wasn't ate right after cooking. shimp was perfectly cooked! would definitely get again.
Hibachi Dinner Steak & Shrimp - Same as above for portion size and fried rice. except the steak has a processed texture. good flavor but definitely not top quality meat. probably wouldn't order again, unless it was ribeye.
Tokyo Rose Roll - 5 stars
Spicy Tuna Roll - 5 stars
Chicken Soba - very bland but good portion size and noodles were good, not soggy.
Spicy Mayo - didn't care for this. usually it's my favorite sauce for sushi but had weird flavor and darker than usual. and 1.00 for a tiny cup is quite expensive.

The portion on the Lunch HL4. Hibachi Shrimp is amazing. I have enough to eat for two days usually. Sometimes the vegetables could be just a tad more cooked, but the flavor is always a 10/10

Rainbow roll was cut too thick. The fish was almost a quarter inch thick and definitely not tender it was tuff.
I enjoyed the asparagus roll that had a good seasoning on it
