• 2/23/24 Love their barbeque and shrimp too. Macaroni Salad is tasty. When I dine in the staff is always nice and serves your food as soon as it is ready. This Hawaiian BBQ in Lacey is a great place if you like Korean-Japanese-Hawaiian fusion food.

• 10/19/25Amazing; they just gained a new loyal customer. I'm in heaven with this BBQ Mix Plate. So glad I tried this place. Lots of tender, delicious meat and could feed 2-4 people, even the macaroni salad is immaculate. Everything was fresh and hot when I got it. Even though it was towards the end of the day, everything was freshly made

• 12/21/24This is my go to when I'm craving katsu for the added bonus of curry, as well as being the cheapest katsu in town. The curry was thin and a little bland today somehow, but I always appreciate the portion sizes.
The Aloha Saimin was a little underwhelming as the chicken got a bit gummy, which i should have anticipated but the egg was cooked correctly though a little over fried which makes it a little difficult to take an easy bite but I mostly enjoy the runny yolk on my noodles so I can over look it.

• 5/9/22Being born and raised in Hawaii, this place was better than I expected! The portions of the half and half plates were so worth the money as it turned out to be 2-3 meals :) The spam musubi was delicious because the spam was good perfectly not like others I have had from other L&Ls in Seattle or Tumwater. Curry was yummy as well but expected the side to be a little larger for the price. Overall everything was great! I will definitely order from here again.

• 9/23/25I honestly don't know why this store has such a high rating. I picked it because of that, but the food I received wasn't good. The shrimp and fish were burned to a crisp, and the chicken was dry and didn't come with any kind of sauce. I looked in the sauce section but didn't see any Hawaiian BBQ sauce to order separately, so I assumed it came with some. The listing on here also doesn't state that the mix plate comes with rice and cabbage so I paid extra for rice that I didn't need. The portion size of the chicken is huge, so that's why it gets 2 stars instead of one. The rice is fine, too. They gave me a tiny side of a macaroni salad but it was gross. I won't be ordering again.
