All food was super delicious compared to Homesty Hawaiian whch oy govea small portion ,food average in taste and too pricey.
Chicken Katsu so crispy softh tasty good.. currysauce and Katsu sauce both outstandig..
Lumpia well seasoned not greasy... Will order more wasmissing1 but credited back
Fish was yummyad Macaroni salad as always top notch great.

the regular bbq chicken always feeds 2 people and we always get all macaroni, it's such a good value!

Aside from the fact that this location does not have Lau-Lau. They have always been hands down the best L&L in the San Diego county for as long as I can remember. Also the only location whose mac salad taste as authentic to the L&L's on Oahu. My go-to location for catering as well. Between where I live and this location is 3 L&L's, def worth the extra drive imo if you want the authentic plate lunch taste and generous portions.

I'm a repeat customer but I'll never again order their Regular Barbecue Beef. First time ordering it and quite disappointed. The beef had too much fat and ligaments. Tried trimming fat but meat was still very chewy, not consumed. Won't be ordering ever again. Again, Regular Barbecue Beef only.
