We are spoiled for good food in Tacoma, and the La Cá Bar is no exception! Their bahn mi sandwiches are my favorite in town. Lots of meat, fresh tasting pickled additions and full of flavor. They also have seriously delicious apps. Highly recommend!

19. Mi Ga Quey (chicken soup with egg noodles) was quality!!! They are making this fresh from scratch, and everything was unique and delicious. Comes with herbs, crunchies, and beautifully fried chicken. Portion was big- 32oz just of the broth, and a thigh + drumstick of chicken, at least a ramen bowls' worth of noodles. I added plenty of extra salt to the broth at home- I appreciated that the broth wasn't too salty by default. Will buy again!

I came a few days ago and I was missing a whole entree but noticed before I left the parking lot.
Today I ordered the same item that was missing, Vermicelli bowl with pork.. But asked for No Noodle just add some extra veg.
Just noticed an email that said they charged an extra $1.11 or something just for that.
Every Pho or Vietnamese place happily adds veg for no cost.
Very surprised that they are so CALCULATING especially on an order that was almost $90.00

The 19. Mì Gà Quay has a nice refreshing flavor. The noodles are not a type I like but the refreshing broth and big chicken pieces are great. The 7. Five Spice Chicken Wings are good flavor wise. The only problem I had is that seem to be light on the special sauce.
