I ordered Choriqueso it was absolutely delicious and full of chorizo, I enjoyed it to the last bite! the Tamales de Carnitas Dinner was amazing, flavorful and a decent size portion! I wish I got a bit more rice to eat with my beans but that's the only complaint. everything was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh!

Torta al Pastor was two hamburger buns with pastor meat that was not from a Trompo, no lettuce, crema, barely any queso fresco or beans and was on two regular hamburger buns. fries were undercooked and not seasoned at all. Carne asada Flauta was $5 and ridiculously disappointing, dry meat, no cheese, no sour cream. SIDE Chile Relleno was decent, only thing worth paying for.

I have been a frequent customer of La Carretta's for many years. Since the manager/owner change? I have noticed that the food has gone way down hill. Yet, this tops the cake. A kids chicken tender plate. (My kiddo hates Mexican food so we compromise and this was always our go to) The biggest chicken finger is the size of my pinky and they are all hard as a rock. They literally cut a single chicken tender into 5 pieces. I paid 10.00$ for a single chicken finger cut into 5 pieces with a handful of fries. What a shameful act. I will not be spending my money at this establishment ever again. Go somewhere else! Even El Paso down the road has more confidence in their food than they do. I honestly don't mind the prices, but to do something so cheap shows me how much the establishment really cares about their local customers and reputation.

The shrimp soft taco was the best taco I've ever had. A little spicy and oh so flavorful. Also the spinach mushroom quesadilla was stuffed with yumminess! New fave.

My chipotle chicken fajitas were amazing. Large enough portion that I have enough for work tomorrow. Would definitely order again.
