I love this restaurant. The people are great and the food is the best. If you like variety try a molcajete and share it, they are huge. I especially love their quesobirria tacos and the pupusa. Authentic Michoacán cuisine.

6/26/26: I’ve been trying different Mexican Restaurants for the Best Campechana, I’ve ordered from several such as 1} Sarita’s Mexican Grill, Monterey {$18.49} tried 3x’s; 2} Barba Azul {$24.49} tried 1x; 3} Taqueria Zarape, Seaside {$20.99} tried 4x’s 🏅🏅🏅🏅4} El Sazon De La Tia, Castroville {$17.49 to $21.69} Makes 4 different types, tried 3 out of 4 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

The Best out of them is El Sazon De La Tia {Castroville} 🏆Their “Coctels “ come with plenty of Shrimp 🍤 and Octopus 🐙 with the usual ingredients Tomato 🍅, Onion🧅, Cilantro 🌿, and Avocado 🥑. Comes in a 24 oz plastic container filled all the way up, and so much seafood when you reach the bottom of the container you still have a ton of seafood that’s fresh; shrimp is clean, cut up pieces of octopus 🐙 . They also have crab 🦀, 🦪 oysters, abalone in their Campechana depending which one you order. Taqueria Zarape {Seaside} 🏅🏅🏅🏅 is the second best, Fresh as well and also comes in 24 oz container and is full and tastes good.
Today I was going to order from La Casa Del Sazon,Monterey {$24.20} their Campechana, along with Horchata and a Pepsi. I hesitated ordering from here because it would be $40.03 without Dasher Tip. At EL SAZON DE LA TIA, same order for $34.92 and it’s FRESH. So if you’re looking for Good Campechana, El Sazon de la Tia {Castroville} or Taqueria Zarape {Seaside} when order on Door Dash

Carne asada was flavorful and chunky. Not like these other restaurants around here that basically mince their carne asada to the point that it's dry and nearly ground beef. Guac was def worth it since it was packed with pico and not just mashed avo.

The asada quesadilla was amazing so much flavor. The Signature Salsa Molcajete (Small) also is amazing great flavor and kick.

Meh. The veggies and lime in the description on the menu was not received. Very little onion and cilantro was sprinkled on top. I prefer a more flavorful colorful taco with a good sized pinch of onion & cilantro plus the marinated veggies and lime squeeze. Pricy for what was delivered
