• 3/22/24This place is FANTASTIC! For 8 tacos, and a large serving of chips and guacamole, it wasnt even $40. The birria tacos are now a comfort food for my wife and I. The horchata is incredible, as well. The staff is pleasant as well. Highly recommend.

• 3/20/25The tacos are small but tasty Camarón / Shrimp not much shrimp inside, just pieces so very pricey for the quantity of food. Burrito was OK, but the cheese was not melted and came in strips, also some peas were added. Birria tacos were good. We prefer Maria Bonita over La Casa del taco.

• 3/22/26Best mexican food in hackettstown, highly recommend the tostadas with steak. Food is always high quality and made exactly how you want. This place is always my go-to when ordering out, super filling and delicious!

• 12/30/24We had the Birria Tacos, Carnitas Tostadas, and Tostones and they were delicious! Glad to find authentic Mexican food close to home! The dining room is colorfully decorated and service was good. Would definitely recommend!

• 9/27/25The Chimichanga was very tasty and was a good portion size. The Empanada was really yummy! The ground beef had a nice flavor and the pastry was flaky and crisp. Definitely will order from here again!
