• 5/11/25Happy Mother's Day! 🌺🌹🪻🌷💐😇🙋🏼♀️ Torta Envinada 🖤💜❤️💛🧡💚 I gave review before, 5 stars. Fresh black fruit wine cake, moist with wine soaked parts of the cake & fruit pieces( I would like it w more fruit pieces. fruit pieces add flavor of the cake!) I recommend this cake to people who like fruit cake, Caribbean cake. It's the only place in long island that makes this cake! This cake is nice for an event or birthday too. One of the Best Hot Chocolate . It's a darker type taste not like artificial. Well wrapped and clean delivery! This location has English Speaking customer service. The Central Islip location does not. If you order from CI beware... if you don't know Spanish they hang up on you It's going in for years. Brentwood is best. Empanada sauces great. The beef is not ground beef but shredded beef & the chicken. they have stools to sit down & also sell Columbian items. They had an angel topper for a cake that I bought for a sympathy bouquet for my mother.

• 2/21/25Flan was ok. Definitely didn't taste like the traditional Flan but it was moist. Bandeja de 3 leches is the most liquid one I've ever tasted. It was like scooping milk and no cake. Definitely had much better at Campbell's bakery and other places. Don't recommend and won't order again.

• 9/27/25I ordered the same meal, Almuerzo de Pollo, two days prior and received a different amount of food this time and it was also missing the rice and beans. Previously the salad was in a separate container, while this time it was included within the platter and was an entirely different type of salad. It wasn't bad but it was very odd and felt like I ordered from a different restaurant. The chicken was slightly burnt and a bit on the dry side. The tostone that came with the meal was also dry. The Empanada de Platano was alright and the Empanada de Carne o Pollo tasted stale and there was bone and cartilage when I first bit into, it which was very off-putting. The best part of my meal was the Envueltos. It was delicious and I should have ordered more than one. I will still order from here because this was only my second bad experience and the food is good enough to look past it.

• 4/10/25Torta Envinada . This is my favorite! It's a black cake similar to a rum fruitcake, but with wine( no rum) It has a few pieces of dried fruit inside it( like the same dried square fruit pieces in a fruitcake). This time I ordered, it was even better when they have added a little more wine soaked into the cake. I wish they put more fruit pieces in it. It would be great if they made this w rum and icing. It reminds me of a black rum fruitcake my grandmother used to make around Christmas(West Indian- Caribbean recipe). You can't get this cake at any bakery in LI. It's very unique ! I tried the Pudin de Pan , Bread Pudding was delicious with 2 kinds of raisins in it! Very fresh with some light caramel on top and moist! Again a unique Bread Pudding that you will not find at other bakeries The Conitos de Bavarian y Pasas , Bavarian yellow custard w flaky pastry. It was not good. I had this before in the past, but it was really horrid stale mold water taste of the dough, had to throw out.
