• 4/25/25Bandeja Tipica is wonderful. My steak was grilled to a perfect medium. It was a good size and was tender. Chicharron was deliciously crispy. The rice is probably the best in the city. Pairs very well with the saucy beans. I also got a Small House Salad, which pairs well with the meal, and Empanadas De Carne O Pollo are the best empanadas in Pittsfield.

• 6/13/24We shared the Empanadas De Carne O Pollo, Carne Asada and Flan. All were excellent!! I ordered the steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, which can be hard to do with a to-go order, I was pleasantly surprised. And the green sauce is amazing! So fresh and delicious!

• 1/7/22My absolute favorite place in town and it has been since it opened. I always go for tostones and a mango shake. For an entree, I usually pick grilled chicken with rice and beans. Always perfectly cooked, always delicious. Miguel and his staff are so genuine and lovely.

• 3/12/24I've been going here fairly regularly for pickups and occasional dine-in. One of the few restaurants left that I can honestly say treats you like family when you're there. Food is made from scratch and always tastes fresh. I had a discount and decided to splurge for the Churrasco New York Strip steak, as they are one of the few places that actually cook a cheeseburger correctly. Turns out they are also one of the few around here that cook a steak correctly. So kudos on that! The 3 leches cake is always mandatory when ordering from here. As well as the Empanadas De Carne O Pollo The kitchen is always clean when I have observed. The portions are generous vs what they charge for things.

I will review La Fogata now. They are Fantastic! I love their Mondongo soup. It is so delicious and hearty. It is perfectly thick, with wonderful ingredients. I never ate beef tripe before, and I love this wonderful protein in the soup, it is somewhat spongy and chewy, and delish. I love the taste of all the other ingredients and spices as well.
I also love their beef and chicken patties, with chicken as my favorite. The outside is fried to perfection, and succulent on the inside.
I tried the sweet plantains, and it's good, but next time I will order the fried green plantains to try them.
Since I don't drive, I order using Door Dash.
I highly recommend this restaurant and will order from them again.
