10/10!! The pastelito was the perfect amount of flakey and buttery, sweet guava on top! Iced horchata latte with oatmilk hit the spot. I've had the Cubano sandwich multiple times too and love it every time!

The arepa was basically a deep fried quesadilla, insanely overpriced. The empanada barely had any filling in it and it was SO DRY! And I mean almost dehydrated meat. It also had four French fries in it. Not diced potatos. I also ordered a hot chocolate which was basic and an iced horchata latte, that was the only decent thing. I paid $36 total with the dash pass. Two tiny menu food items and two small drinks. $36. What a world. Will absolutely NEVER be ordering again.

The food is good, flavorful. The issue is the service - 2 of 2 times when ordering additional sauce, they included ONLY the add on whatever your selection is for your plate order is somehow overlooked. *FYI: Double check your order before leaving the restaurant. This happened once on a delivery and today on a pickup order. Also note it lists sauce as 12oz., it is not. It's a ketchup size togo container.*

Arepa Pabellon No cook properly, plantain were not cook they were raw. I had to finished frying them. Empanada the meat was too dry. The pastelito didn't have enough guayaba paste and was missing the cheese, the hojaldre was not crispy looked like an old pastry. No happy at all.

Absolutely delicious! This place brings SAVOR to the Vacaville blandness of chain restaurants. La Guagua is a little of everything regarding yummy Latin American cuisine. Top favorites: Croqueta Pollo, Empanada Horno - All Day, Plantains, and TOS tones. Looking forward to expanding and trying the other dishes.
