The Shrimp Mummies and Val's Tres Leches are 2 of our Favorites from La Herradura ...Once again, they did NOT Disappoint! They arrived ahead of schedule, and Denise, the Dasher, was Excellent, both working together to create a Win/Win Meal!!!

The Shrimp Mummies are ALWAYS on our order, and today, they were The BEST, Ever! We enjoyed them as an Appetizer, and we chose 3 Desserts to complete our Saturday Night Dinner. Two out of the three, Val's Tres Leches and the Flan were Good, but neither of us cared for the Mexican Cheesecake, as it was Very Dry...Disappointingly so...

I eat here often along with my mother. Thia is by far our favorite restaurant. It's not common to find an actual Mexican restaurant in the city that isn't some kind of tex-mex. The food is always amazing and extremely well made. The quality is excellent and I honestly could not recommend them enough

Chimichanga Dinner with ground beef.... Is nasty. The meat is gray and mushy. no char on it, not browned at all, not seasoned. Rice and beans are tasteless. The extra saltiness of the side of queso balanced that out though. Taco Bell would have made me for satisfied than this. Ick!

We ordered the 3 tacos which were delish, but all the pictures online showed it with beans and rice which it did not come with. It also stated that all items come with a set up and we received no set up. The choriqueso is good, but not your typical texmex queso if thats what you are after. I would go back, but maybe this is an eat in the restaurant type of place.
