When I placed this order I was soooo hungry and you know how big your expectations are when you're hungry and your food finally arrives. La Islita did not come to disappoint. Every single thing was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The portion is enough for me to eat off of it at least three days times. The Carne Frita / Fried Pork Chunks was crisp on the outside but tender and juicy and the mofongo made me want to salsa just a little while I ate it. Don't even get me started on that beef Empanadillas / Turnovers. Not only was everything delicious it arrived fresh and hot, perfectly sealed. I definitely will be ordering from La Islita again!

An absolutely fantastic dining experience! I visited for lunch and was thoroughly impressed.The food was incredible. We ordered the Mofongo con carne frita and Islita both were cooked to perfection, packed with flavor, and served piping hot.The service was top-notch; our server, Paola iwas incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was cozy and perfect Overall, it offers great value for the quality of ingredients. Highly recommend—we will definitely be back!"

Oh my goodness! I wanted to try something new, and I know nothing about Cuban food, other than a Cubanrican | Cuban Sandwich . The sandwich was HUGE and delicious! I got an Platillo Dominicano con 5 Artículos / Dominican Platter with 5 Items in order to try some new things. There was SO much food and it a all yummy! I also tried the Tostones / Fried Green Plantains . They were blander than I expected, but I was happy to try something new.
Now we are stuffed and we still have enough leftover for about 3 more meals! lol

Great Cuban Sandwich, it's huge! Perfect combo of mayo and mustard and the meat was cooked perfectly. The bread was very fresh and I would order again. The plantains were a bit burnt but still tasty.
