The taco pack was an easy and tasty way to serve up tacos to a group. The beans and rice were on the bland side, but fine when mixed up with everything else. Major disappointment was the teeny side of guacamole for nearly $6. Wish the menu had indicated it was barely a 2 ounce container (unlike the other sides). All in all, I paid for the convenience and got what I wanted.

food was good, but I don't recommend getting the cheese sauce. I'm not sure if it was a mistake and they put it in the wrong container, but I paid $6 for cheese sauce and it was the size of a small dip cup.. like the ones you get at fast food restaurants. should have been .50 cents at most for the size.

The fajita meal pack tastes great and is a good deal...can feed a lot. The sopapillas on the other hand are a COMPLETE rip off...would not order again.

I'm not sure why people keep ordering from La Mesa. It is mediocre. They use a frozen soup mix vegetables in their rice, very strange. Their portions are small and their prices are big. The meats are always bland and taste very low quality. The side of Refried Beans was in a larger container, which made it seem like a very small amount. I put it into another bowl and yes, it was small for the cost, but not as small of an amount as I thought initially.
Overall, just don't order from here anymore. It's really not good quality and not prepared with care and very very overpriced. This is less than Taco Bell level with $20+ per entree pricing.
