Sopa De Res was amazing! Great hangover remedy
Had nice chunks of short ribs and rich broth
Pollo Frito was also tasty! Loved the orange sauce smothered on the chicken
Beans and rice always hit the spot

Pupusas De Revuelta and Pupusas De Loroco Con Queso were a nice size and had a lot of filling. The Horchata 16oz came in a five guys cup and a coffee cup lid? was not good, too sweet and the flavor reminded me of hot tamales candy.

I’m still eating my way through Northern Virginia since moving back from Germany. I came home, poured a glass of wine, and turned on Best Ever Food Review Show on YouTube. Five minutes later Sonny had me hungry and I was suddenly craving tortas and pupusas, so it was time to DoorDash.
I headed straight for one of my old, trusty, reliable go to spots, La Migueleña Market 2 in Reston, because when a craving hits like that, you don’t experiment, you execute.
Look, I know this meal isn’t dressed up for Instagram, but do not let the simplicity fool you. The torta came in stacked, loaded, and carrying steak so tender it felt like it had just come back from a spa weekend. One bite and my taste buds started dancing.
And that pupusa delivered a cheese pull so dramatic it deserved its own slow motion replay. One stretch and I knew I had made the right decision.
Everything tasted exactly the way I remembered and my taste buds are already plotting their next visit. I’ll be seeing you again soon!

I was so happy with my order! The pupusas are tasty and the pupusas locas are huge! the Yuca Con Chicharron was delicious and my favorite part!
