Carne Asada meal was really tasty & seasoned just enough! Tortillas were packed differently this time, so they got cold really quickly. I can re-warm them up when ready.
Disappointed in the size of Guacamole 4 ounce . Only 1 size, and not to mention it's almost $6 👀.... I can say that their Guacamole 4 ounce is FRESH & AUTHENTIC!
All in all, it was a good meal 😋 But a lil pricey! $$$$ 47$ b4 the tip!

Been going to the San Leandro La Piñata since the '90's. They messed up on my enchilada dinner but they were still GOOD. The carnitas street tacos made up for them too. The tacos were jam packed full of meat and they added extra chopped onions and cilantro like I requested. And their salsa is the absolute BEST in the Bay Area!!! So fresh and has just the right amount of heat!

I love me some authentic Mexican food & LA Pinata has it. As a kid, my family would this restaurant over the years. They have been around for at least 35-40 years for sure!!
If you want REAL, HOMEMADE Flour Tortillas - LA PINATA got em'!!

They offer the choice of how you want your shrimp prepared also. I tried MOJO STYLE for the 1st time recently and i love it. They are saturated in a garlic type marinate& excellente`
4 camarones are included in this meal. Theportion of Asada/Steak is definitely worth the price.
I always receive healthy portions when ordering from LA Pinata.

The soup was mostly broth. I ordered this soup a few times before. I paid $25.00 hoping to get the same soup experience that I usually get but this time there was mostly broth and hardly anything else in the container. I Will gladly send pictures.

Ordered a $17 Caldo de Pollo / Chicken Soup and they didn't even have the decency to shred the chicken like usual. Instead it came in 3 big chunks of a chicken breast and it was rubbery and hard to chew.
