I'm in Pekin for work this week and received mutliple recommendations for La Gondola, specifically the sandwiches. The Half Torpedo did not dissapoint. The fresh, sweet bread paired with the fresh ham and salami was perfection. I will definitely be coming back while I'm in town.

Food was amazing, but the portionsizes were very small.Meatball (1) wasn't worth the price, 2 dollars for a single tablespoon sized portion was abit ridiculous. (at least through doordash)
Lasagna à la Carte was really good tasted amazing, but it's also very expensive. (at least through doordash.)

the lasagna was pathetic. literally had maybe 4 bites worth of noodles which I would not constitute as lasagna. I had a boat full of sauce, very disappointed. I ordered same thing from the Morton Lagondola a few nights ago while at work and it was delicious loaded with cheese and meat. what I received today was ridiculous for the cost. definitely not worth going back for

This was absolutely terrible. Lasagna Dinner sauce was very generic tasting. it was all over in my container and full of grease. Garlic bread had absolutely no garlic on it. it was tough cooked normal bread.for $20 I'm greatly disappointed.

While I usually love lagondola the salad was absolutely disgusting. I didnt even bother to open it and just threw it away. The sauce tasted like nothing and you can smell the meat - anyone who has ate la gondola before knows thats not typically the case. Just overall disapp with the meal. Delivery however was not the problem even delivered quicker than estimated!!
