I'm still thinking about the tender and flavorful Spicy Beef Stew / Key Wot and the delicious lentils, beets, greens, and cabbage in the Veggie Combo several days later. If they didn't come with generous piles of injera bread to soak up the juices, I'd be licking the takeout containers clean. Thank you for the wonderful food!

The Spicy Beef Stew / Key Wot was flavorful but over salted. The Veggie Combo was amazing, so much nutritious food, I got full so fast. Really generous injera servings.

I love Ethiopian food. I've tried most of the restaurants in Portland. Lalibella is a cut above all the others. Their flavors, their consistency, the freshness of proteins and produce is on point. Hands down the best Ethiopian food in Portland, IMO. We (two adults) ordered the Family combo and everything was tasty and well packaged (in plastic unfortunately). We eat big portions and we still had left overs. They send plenty of bread with delivery orders. We also ordered the samosas and wow, those are great! They've got a spicy kick but not too much heat, just enough to wake up your tasters. Highly recommend anything from Lalibela.

New go-to Ethiopian food spot unlocked! Love the way they put the extra injera on top of the injera-wrapped food, kept everything warm and the presentation looked great. The flavors were so good, too and the portions were generous. Can't wait to order from here again!
