I loved the whole meal! Ropa vieja was delicious! So was the black beans & rice and maduros! A perfect comfort food for a rainy day in Miami! Will definitely recommend!

I fell in love with place because of the Vaca Frita de Pollo - Grilled Shredded Chicken. Recently, though, they have missed the mark. Burnt/overcooked or even soggy chicken last 3 times. Such a disappointment

I decided to try a new Cuban restaurant instead of my usual. I was born and raised in Miami so I love the Cuban cuisine here, but this reminded me why I rarely try new places when I already have a favorite. The vaca frita wasn't shredded, which would've been fine if it had at least been a little crispy, but it wasn't. The flavor was just OK overall. They didn't have natilla so they substituted flan instead to my order. To be fair, I'm really picky about flan, which is why I rarely order it. This one was not good. The bottom was tough, overcooked. It was plain flavor wise. I wish someone would've reached out to ask about the substitution.
This was my 2nd time ordering from here, and other than the natilla I had the 1st time, it hasn't screamed wow to me.

The Filete de Pescado was excellent. I'm non Hispanic but I love Cuban food. To top it off OMG!!!!! The custard flan is my favorite.

Vaca frita contained too much fat and was undercooked. I had to finish cooking it myself on an iron skillet. Fried yuca was overcooked. Hardly any yuca remained inside and too greasy. Unacceptable.
