All my favorite Monmouth County Puerto Rican restaurants closed down during COVID. I just found this restaurant yesterday and placed a large order. The food, be it the beef, chicken, shrimp, rice, etc., was the best I ever had from a NJ latin restaurant. The others, even my past favorites, didn’t come close to the quality, seasoning, and flavors at this place. Incredibly happy I found this place.

My order was delivered quickly and was packaged efficiently. The Cuban Sandwich was huge but lacked flavor. Double the size of a normal sandwich. The Papa Rellena and Empanadas Beef/ Picadillo were cooked well but again the beef filling didn't have any flavor. I didn't get the Empanadas Chicken/ Pollo Criollo as ordered so I can't rate that one.

So yummy! We had pernil, arroz con gandules and plantains - everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and generous portions

Steak was grey inedible. The only part that was good was the testones. The Roast pork sandwich / Pan Con Lechon was dry and not a lot inside. The Guava Cream Cheese Pastry (1pc) had barely any filling. So sad I couldn't enjoy this.

First time trying this restaurant and haven't eaten all the food yet. But to start with, two very small plastic covered tubs with what's supposed to be side orders of black beans but a huge portion of rice. Not enough beans for rice. I wish I had saved my $50.+
The icing on the cake-- no forks spoons etc napkins although I purposely asked for them. Guess they're not interested in repeat clients.
