The chicken wrap perfect — crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The flavor and quality definitely stood out, making this a new favorite spot. I’ll absolutely be ordering from here again.

Food is always perfect, dashers that deliver from here are often so so sweet and the food tastes better than most canes. The chicken is always freshly fried and crispy and the five tenders is the perfect amount. I will always order Laynes over canes

Layne’s has gone downhill versus what it used to be (been eating it since 2009). The core product is not competitive with Raising Cane’s, yet it costs more and gives less.
• Chicken fingers: consistently hard and dry, not soft or fresh-tasting.
• Fries: usually soggy and limp, rarely crisp.
• Toast: frequently burnt.
• Value: Layne’s box combos are more expensive than Raising Cane’s and offer less food because there is no coleslaw included.
• Focus: the menu looks increasingly diversified beyond chicken fingers, and that shift appears to be hurting the quality of the core items.
Fix the basics first: improve tenderness and freshness on the fingers, make fries consistently crisp, stop burning the toast, and align price and portions with the competition.
