Mike Layne opened the doors to our first store in 1994 when people still used fax machines and the term Mullet was becoming trendy. The following year, a college student named mike Garratt came by for…

Tried Layne’s Chicken and it definitely hit the spot. The chicken tenders were hot, crispy, and juicy on the inside—exactly what you want. The fries were fresh and well-seasoned, and the toast with the sauce really pulled everything together.
Speaking of the sauce… it’s the star. Super flavorful and perfect for dipping everything. My order arrived quickly and was still hot, which made a big difference.
Simple menu, but they do it really well. Great option when you’re craving solid, no-frills comfort food. I’ll be ordering again!

Was disappointed with our w5 Finger Meal* toast was soggy & greasy. Chicken strips is not the correct name for what was served. The so-called strips were barely bigger than a nugget each. Maybe it's because we ordered around 9:30pm. We'll try one more time earlier in the day before we decide to keep in Layne's in rotation or never eat again.

They say they're better than canes (which I do not like) but the chicken was dry and tough AND the size of nuggets, the fries weren't good and.. yeah, never again.

My food was cold, the Grilled Chicken Wrap Meal was nothing like described, lettuce was old watery, the chicken inside very little it literally looked like an old chicken salad that was sitting in the fridge over night froze a little and unthawed very distasteful didn't eat my meal
