chicken juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. hushpuppies moist on inside with a sweet crispy outside. bbq beans tasted good and had bits of bbq in them 😊 fries could've used salt, but were cooked through.Thigh & Leg Dinner

Little pigs has been in Asheville since 1960 and it's really a more original North Carolinaian barbecue than some other newer BBQ restaurants. Their hush puppies are the best in town and their onion rings are to die for.

Oh my god. This place is so nostalgic-it reminds me of getting BBQ with my mom's family in rural NC, down to the little ketchup cups and sauces on the table. The onion rings are arguably the best I've ever eaten, and the hushpuppies are firecracker hot and 35 cents a piece (you're going to want a whole order though, learned the hard way!) I'll absolutely be back. The vinegar sauce is a little more mustardy than a typical Carolina vinegar, but it's delicious. The tomato base-I drank it out of the cup.

I always love Little Pigs, but tonight, my chicken had obviously been cooked and sitting for hours. The pieces of chicken very small, and they were shriveled up and crust was soggy. It's usually wonderful, but tonight was a disappointment.

This place used to be the absolute best, but this order was so disappointing. my chicken breast was tiny, it was perfectly cooked, and talented how I expected, but it was barely a breast. my pulled pork was dry as a bone and not a single sauce was added to my bag. I don't even remember seeing a place to ask for sauce on the menu. I had to use my store bought sauce, which is not as good as what they have in the restaurant. super disappointing.

Chopped Pork BBQ

Hickory smoked chopped pork BBQ that has smoked for 15 hours. We do not use rubs or sauces during the cooking process.

Broasted Chicken

We serve genuine broasted chicken that is marinated, breaded and cooked in peanut oil in a pressure fryer. This makes the chicken juicy on the inside and crisp on the outside. It's fried chicken but so much better!

Ribs (Baby Back Pork Ribs in a sweet sauce)

Ribs are cooked in their own sweet sauce. Ribs without sauce are not available. >1/2 lb equals 4 bones, typically for 1 person. >1 lb is 8 bones and can typically feed 2 people.

Hot Dogs

We serve Nathan's all beef hot dogs.

Feeding 4 or more? You customize.... Choose chopped pork BBQ, broasted chicken, baby back pork ribs, sides, hushpuppies or bread and more.

Family Meals

Choose between bbq family meal (feed 4) or bbq and chicken family meal (family pack). All family meals come with two sides, hush puppies and sauce (for bbq). Paper goods (plates, forks, napkins, etc.) are not included. Family meals are for 4 people. If you need more, please refer to the bulk carry out section.

Desserts

Lemon meringue pie is the only dessert we serve because it is great! Try it! Order by slice or whole pie.

Drinks

Choose between coke fountain drinks, ice tea, coffee, milk and buttermilk. We do not sell any alcoholic beverages.
