This tastes exactly like how I remember it from my childhood. The fish is exceptionally crispy which is exactly what I was looking for and I find the value to be very good for the amount that I received. I would definitely order this 8 Piece Family Meal again!

I ordered long distance but the store went by my instructions on double wrapping/insulating their wonderful food. Arrived as warm as is physically possible, crispy, succulent.
Don't let those "English" "pubs" in Chicago ruin your fish & chips with their dry fish batter and their quote/unquote Proper chips. 1/2 of my family are English/British, so I know a bit about this meal. LJS, counterintuitive perhaps, really is a better "Chippie" than anything else in greater Chitown, at least measured by my experiences. The waffle fries (chips) when they're hot) are good but more not a dealbreaker for the splendidly battered Fish, Chicken & Shrimp Platter. Good coleslaw & hush puppies round it out nicely. As the adage goes: "Appearences can sometimes be deceiving."

I ordered the Fish & Chicken Platter and it was really good! It was my first time trying this place and everything was super crunchy, portion was pretty big, and the food was tasty. Whoever packed my order put a smiley face on it and I knew I was in good hands.

Amazing fish and chicken along with the hush puppies and coleslaw!! They made it right and fresh and tasted so good as I remembered from years ago! Shout out to the team at the store for making my LJS experience the best one in years! Portions and requests were perfectly made! Thanks again

The food was fresh and hot. The fish was crispy, so were the shrimp and chicken, and the fries were great. Nothing was overly greasy or salty, and the coleslaw and hush puppies were excellent and I don't even like coleslaw.
My order was missing a hush puppy and they put two individual orders of hush puppies in one box which caused an issue at home, but outside of that nothing to complain about.
