We Iove their food, I get the steak tampiqueña, my sons love their burritos. The horchata is the best around.

The meat was very fatty. I'm not sure it was fat actually; it chewed more like connective tissue than protein or fat. The burritos have also gotten much smaller. My giant burrito was the size of a normal burrito from other places. The side salsa was very good, however, but I couldn't forgive the rest of the order.

Sometimes their food is AMAZING. So juicy and perfectly seasoned. Sometimes it's dry and flavorless. Dinner seems to be better than lunch. We've had mostly good luck, and when the food is good, it's better than all of the fancy Mexican restaurants in the area. We particularly enjoy the steak fajitas.

I would prefer to give them less than a one star rating but that's not an option. I ordered after seeing they were rated 4.8 stars and trusted that. Not a good decision. I order chicken fajitas and guacamole. This was the worst excuse for chicken fajitas I have ever eaten. There was certainly a LOT of food but the chicken was in very large pieces. I quickly discovered it was probably left that way because it was so tough and dry that I had a hard time cutting through it with a steak knife. The accompanying peppers and onions were pretty much raw. The beans were soupy and the rice was dry. Need I say that after trying to take a few bites the rest went into the disposal. What a waste of money. Do yourself a favor and bypass this restaurant. YIKES
