The Crawfish Etouffee was delicious. It was well seasoned and the portion size was perfect. I loved the Bourbon Bread Pudding as well. The sauce really made it even better!

The food got here still plenty warm! The Gran Marnier Chocolate Cake was nothing short of phenomenal. The Shrimp, Andouille Sausage & Grits was very flavorful, the grits being stand out and the sauce amazing (although there was a bit much in proportion to the grits). Ordering again is a no brainer for me!

I love the food here when I eat in the restaurant but getting it delivered left a lot to be desired.
The portion size for a $40 entree was insultingly (and was 1/2 of what I normally get when I order in the restaurant).
The bread pudding was flat and had no taste. Complete waste of money .

3 stars, (Average). Seafood - taste & consistency say to the senses "fresh but never canned (frozen)". Crab cake - burned but edible (turn down the flame). $50 angus steak - cut is above avg, good temp. Char and seasoning hit severe flat notes (full-bodied au jus skyrockets sales to "most ordered"). Overall - disappointing for $117 for 1 meal (no special requests) & 2 appetizers (1 overcooked), but in some ways better than a WH t-bone & eggs scr w ch. On 2 out like 1! I get sentimental :)

I ordered the Fried Redfish & Grits - D through DoorDash for pickup, and overall it was a mixed experience.
The grits were really good. They were creamy and flavorful. I didn’t really taste the gouda, but the jalapeño definitely came through, which I enjoyed. The fish was seasoned well and tasted good, but I wish I had asked for it to be fried a little harder, especially since it sits in sauce. By the time I picked it up, it had softened more than I prefer. However the freshness was still there you can tell it wasnt just sitting around.
The sauce itself was very flavorful, but my biggest issue was how greasy the dish was. There was a lot of excess grease in the container, far more than necessary.
Another downside was the portion balance. There was more sauce than grits, so once everything is stirred together, the grits become very soupy. The spicy flavor then takes over instead of the dish staying savory and balanced.
I eat here from time to time, and this dish was nowhere near as good as when dining inside the restaurant. Even though this was a pickup order, not delivery, it still felt like DoorDash orders are handled differently. Pickup orders placed through DoorDash are kept in a separate area from call-in orders, and the quality does not seem consistent. I would for sure ordered this dish again but I would for sure be in the establishment to do so.
Overall, great flavors, but the pickup execution needs improvement.
