On my last visit, I went for a 5-piece dark meat order along with 3 chicken tenders, and both were winners. The dark meat (legs and thighs) was incredibly juicy and showcased that signature peppery, flour-based Cajun coating that offers a distinct "soft crunch" without being overly bready. The tenders were surprisingly substantial and tender, making them perfect for dipping. Whether you're pairing it with their classic fries or the legendary side of shrimp fried rice, it remains one of the best no-frills spots in the city for a salty, spicy chicken fix.

Fish and red beans and rice was good. Wasted $5 on banana pudding dessert with no bananas. Just a small cup of what tasted like package banana pudding nothing special with cookies and no bananas as pictured

Banana Pudding small amount 5 to 6 tablespoons,  clearly made from Jell-O but damn can at least get my $5 worth and not $2.50?
The chicken was as expected Chicken Combo (3 Pieces). The dirty rice does not have to taste like dirt, but it did.
