tender rib tips, great sauce, and cooked to perfection. sweet potatoes and mac and cheese were cooked by pros. would recommend over any soul food restaurant in the city!

I finally got to try LuCretia's after hearing great things and it is OUTSTANDING! The only disappointment was not receiving cornbread for one meal and thelemon cake. Everything else arrived as ordered, hot, and cooked to perfection. Nothing was too salty; as some soul food places can be heavy-handed. They were out of baked chicken and they contacted me to let me know and provide a substitute (whiting dinner). Both the fried chicken and whiting were excellently seasoned and cooked. The dressing and mac and cheese tasted like "grandma's cooking" and the portions are generous. There was a little bit of an extended wait, about 30 minutes longer than other places, but worth the wait! The pricing is also a little more expensive than similar restaurants in the area, but the customer service, quality, and portion size far exceed that of the other restaurants; justifying the price in my opinion. This will definitely be our once a month splurge meal as a family! 30/10...highly recommend!

My food was delicious and I like the clear container. Her cornbread and dressing are all that. The portions are hefty and leave you good and full. The fish was fresh and I'll definietly order again.

Food was pretty good. Like last time, they didn't include LK’s Fried Potatoes and Onions (Friday thru Sunday Only). I think that's my sign to stop ordering them. The Old Recipe Style Veggie Plate (Mac, greens & cabbage) was good. The cabbage was a little sweet, something I didn't expect so I probably wouldn't order it again. The Large Pork Chop Meals was delicious with green beans & sweet potatoes. Be advised that you will need ample time if ordering DoorDash. I scheduled the order 3 hours before they opened, it was scheduled to come 1 hr & 20 min after they opened and it still took 25 minutes longer than the estimated delivery time. In all the times I have ordered delivery, it has never been on time. No fault to the dasher--it's always the restaurant.

This order was a challenge----it took so long the first dasher left and after being delivered by the second, majority of the food was cold. LK’s Fried Potatoes and Onions (Friday thru Sunday Only) were missing from the order. Pork Chops meal was ok--chops were tender flavorful. The sides were not correct (received baked beans instead of greens) but tasted ok. The baked beans were a little too sweet for my liking and mac&cheese was not baked enough in my opinion. VOTED #1 Fried Chicken-Small 1/4 Chicken Meal chicken was delicious but my sides were also wrong that meal (received green beans instead of sweet potatoes). The green beans were pretty good. I also had the greens (tasty but had too many stems) and dressing (comes with gravy and was pretty good).
