This place is wonderful. It's a 2 man family operated business. The fish reminded me of my mom's recipe. The cake is homemade, moist, and full of flavor. Shame on these people who are complaining, and rating them less thank 5 over a missing tarter sauce.

I frequently order from here with no issues. Today I ordered Whiting Full Dinner with Mac and cheese and green beans. There was really no meat in the fish ! It was all crust and the little meat That was inside was overcooked. It was basically a pork rind but a fish version. The Mac and cheese was bland, no seasoning and no cheese! Green beans were on point as usual but aside from that my meal was trash and Im done ordering from them for a while if not forever. I miss the original owners from 38th and state in KCK. This location has not lived up to the Lutfis Brand.

The catfish is breaded, fried, and seasoned perfectly and the hush puppies might be the best I've ever had. Just a heads up, the half dinner doesn't come with tartar sauce or hot sauce, you have to order those separately.

The Macaroni was VERY runny. Should have been served in a covered container. My okra was so dark I kept calling them hush puppies.
