Best Cuban I've ever had! The Croquetas de Jamón / Ham Croquettes & Papa Rellena / Stuffed Potato were awesome! The Tamales Cubanos / Cuban Tamales was huge and tasted like sweet corn with hint of peppers. The Guayaba / Guava was so flakey. Would definitely get everything again.

This is my second time ordering from Macias and can't understand why I didn't write a review the first time. I busy bragging about the food to family to try. I ordered the Ropa Vieja and every corner of this plate is full of flavor. The food was hot and the quality of the items you can definitely taste. I ordered lunch and still have leftovers. 10/10, highly recommend! I'll be back.

The Croquetas de Jamón / Ham Croquettes were delicious! I also got a Papa Rellena / Stuffed Potato which was chock full of yummy meat and the Platanitos maduros which were very good and plentiful. The Empanada de pollo con queso/chicken . Cheese empanada was full of chickeny goodness and the sauce that came with the meal was perfect! I'll be back!

For my taste, not the best Sándwich Cubano / Cuban Sandwich I've ever had. The pork needed more seasoning and a little citrus flavor to give it that slight "mojo" flavor. I will say this, that sandwich was HUGE!! And for the size, very reasonably priced. The sandwich was cut in half, and filled up all but about 1" of the container. The fries were so sad, they had to have been crying, since they were so pale, limp and some had no color on them. But, that garlic sauce was sublime. The Empanada de res /beef empanada was absolutely spectacular. It bordered on too salty, but it was still, so very tasty. Will definitely get these again. The Croquetas de Jamón / Ham Croquettes was good, but it was so rich. You could actually split one, so as not to be too "full" just from the richness. Lastly, I took someone else's recommendation on the Jupina /pineapple Cuban soda, I need a 12-pack of those. It had the right amount of fizz, and the slight tartness helped cut through some of the richness of the Croquetas de Jamón / Ham Croquettes. Plus, the soda came in the cutest little bag. It appeared to be designed just for a drink. It would give you a handle to hold, if you were carrying a fountain drink.
Overall, I would say this was an 8.5/10 experience.
Do NOT sleep on the Empanada de res /beef empanada and the Jupina /pineapple Cuban soda.
