Great lunch from Mac's today. I got the Large Pulled Pork plate. The meat was hot and juicy and had a nice smoked flavor to it. It was a strong portion size too. The french fries and fried okra on the side were both good too. The way they packaged it was quite messy, but it somehow kept the meal tasting good, so I forgave the packaging.

The Brisket Burnt Ends were not worth $18 because of the quantity (10 pieces) The food containers should have been stapled or secured better to deter any tampering. The/1/2 Smoked Chicken was falling off the bone. It was very delicious. The Wings 6 were smoked and very good, too, as well as the Egg Rolls.

The Lil' Pig was excellent. I can be a big eater sometimes, and I thought this portion size was plenty. The meat was hot and juicy, and they included a nicely toasted bun. The fried okra on the side tasted freshly cooked. The Chicken & Dumpling Cup was horrible. I couldn't eat it.

Pretty disappointed with the Go Big or Go Home Platter. Yes it was a decent portion of meat but the sides were what you would get with an individual meal. Not a pint or shareable size at all. I actually didn't get any as we had to ration them out to the 3 kids. Egg Rolls were great but we definitely didn't feel like we got $100 worth of food like we paid for.

Based on the name and the price, we were under the impression a Shared Platter would be enough food to feed 4 people since you select 4 meats. The meat was enough, but the sides were definitely not enough. The sides either need to be larger or choose 4 sides rather than 2. Mac n Cheese and garlic mashed were good. The ribs were a little spicy, which we were not aware of. The pulled pork and chopped brisket were good flavor if you like vinegar style bbq. If you are looking for a smokey flavor this is not it, but very good if you like vinegar based bbq.
