Catfish and okra were delicious. Very fresh fish perfect seasoning. Packaging was very greasy, but once you get past that it's great.

The fried okra and basa are my go-tos. Always perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned.
My Dad fishes a lot and even buys bags of their house made fish batter to cook with at his fish frys. because its the best!

I typically order two basa snack packs at least once a week, sometimes twice because of the price and amount of food you get for the price. On both orders tonight, I literally only got two basa nuggets. That has NEVER happened before. Totally disappointed. Never happed with mad jacks before and totally unexpected!

The reviews didn't lie! The fish (basa) is so delicious. The flavors didn't come to play! I honestly don't need any sauce. I wasn't able to request fried hard as in option (I could have missed it I'm a mom w/ a spicy brain). So my fish wasn't a great texture but I can tell if I went and got it would be way better. Also maybe if the container had vents it would have got to me more crispy.
The greens are not my favorite. That is all.
The bread lol again I might have missed it but for whatever reason I thought extra bread was just a slice. And after I got it was like oh damnnnn I bought half a loaf lol!!! *Also two slices were already taken*

I fish tasted ok. The portion size was nice. The okra was great but whoever packed the order did an awful job. Everything was packed in a small paper bag. The pecan pie was interesting. You know how raw meat that might going bad smells? I felt like I could taste it in the pie. I'm not sure how that's possible. I love pecan pie and it's never made the roof of my mouth itch. I've ordered from them several times and it's always been great. I'm not sure what happened today.
