The corn beef plate comes with two sides, the beef was tender. Baked beans are large lima beans and are absolutely delicious as well as the carrot salad with celery, apples and raisins and the corn was large and juicey. The hardshell tacos were tasty too. Also good are the cooked carrots and the cabbage.

Corned beef & cabbage are so greasy & oily. Bizarre, never experienced that anywhere else in America. The CB was undercooked/slimy, cabbage was slimy and tasted like a donut, not in a good way.

The Turkey "Skipper Sandwich" was very dry and definitely not one of the best things to order at this restaurant. Their Corned Beef Plate, Pastrami, and traditional sides are the best things to order. Next time we will stick to basics and enjoy the dishes that they're known for.

Dear Magees -Thank for all your incredible "home-style " food !! It tastes just like my nana cooked though out my childhood and everything is also so so delicious and I have so many favorites here, tonight I had the Hot Turkey Sandwich and it was so comforting and everything tastes homemade!! Your restaurant is ultimately one of the best in L.A. and one can tell all your plates are cooked with LOVE!!! All I can say is again THANK YOU from our HEARTS!!!!!!
